Limited, a London based specialist investment bank and financial advisory firm, servicing the debt capital and leasing requirements of a select group of clients. The company is regulated by the FSA in the United Kingdom and has built extensive relationships with institutional investors worldwide.
With over 75 years of combined experience, the Schechter team has led the private placement of debt and equity securities for hundreds of companies and is highly experienced in pioneering unique transaction structures tailored to meet the diverse demands of its clients.
The biggest compliment a business can receive is when clients return for repeat business. We are proud that we have performed multiple financings for many of our clients including over $350 million in five transactions for Serco Group plc, a British FTSE 100 company providing outsourcing services to governments, international agencies and corporations located throughout the world; over $237 million in six transactions for Hunting PLC, a British FTSE 250 oil services provider and over €142 million for German football club, Schalke 04.
In August 2007, Schechter & Co. Limited completed a $475 million dual currency transaction for Venture Production plc; credited as the largest traditional cross border private placement out of Europe in 2007. However, we also have the ability to focus on the smaller transactions and recently arranged a €12.5 million lease financing and working capital facility for waste-to-energy producer, W2E1 Ltd; believed to be the first ever private placement out of Cyprus.
Other high profile deals include a €35 million private placement for Muehlhan AG, a marine surface protection company in Germany, a £16 million lease financing for the trailer fleet of British based logistics company, Wincanton plc, $82 million for Sunstar Inc., the Japanese dental care company, private placements for Manchester City and Norwich City football clubs, the leveraged buyout of Heckler & Koch Beteiligungs GmbH from BAE Systems and lease financings for Eli Lilly Limited, Serco Group Plc and Hagemeyer NV in sterling, euros and dollars respectively. |
